The main purpose of the Trade Lead is to identify and develop new business opportunities for the business by conducting market research, identifying potential customers, and promoting Sabi’s products or services to them. The Trade Lead is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing customers as well as seeking out and engaging with potential new customers. They may also negotiate and close deals, collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure customer satisfaction, and analyze market trends and competitors to stay informed and make strategic business decisions. The goal of a trade lead is to increase sales, revenue, and market share for Sabi.
The Trade Lead will be charged with performing these duties. They include:
· Identify and target potential customers for the company’s products or services, which may involve developing a list of prospects and reaching out to them to introduce the company.
· Responsible for building strong relationships with existing and potential customers to generate sales and secure repeat business. This may involve attending trade shows and networking events, making sales presentations, and providing excellent customer service.
· Develop and implement a strategic plan for entering new markets or expanding existing ones.
· Negotiate with customers to finalize sales contracts and agreements.
· Collaborate with other departments within the company, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure that customer needs are met and that the company is providing high-quality products or services.
· Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make strategic business decisions.
· Responsible for meeting sales targets and contributing to the company’s overall revenue growth.
· Monitor the performance of trade initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
· Set goals and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) used to track and measure achievement.
· A minimum of 5 years experience in Sales in FMCG and other consumer related products (Electronics, beauty, etc). Prior experience as Sales Team Lead, Modern Trade lead is required.
· Strong wholesale and bulk sales abilities.
