Mobile App Tester at TEXKOOP

Texkoop, a dynamic last-mile logistics startup based in Lyon, France, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobile App Tester to join our team. As a Mobile App Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our upcoming mobile app, which is set to revolutionize the delivery services industry. Your primary responsibility will be to thoroughly test the app on various devices and operating systems to identify any bugs, glitches, or usability issues that may arise. You will work closely with our development and design teams to provide valuable feedback and assist in delivering a seamless and user-friendly mobile app experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of the mobile app across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes to ensure its stability, functionality, and compatibility.
• Identify and report any defects, bugs, or performance issues in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand app functionality and design specifications, and provide valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Participate in the design and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, mobile app testing techniques, and emerging technologies.
• Assist in reproducing and troubleshooting reported issues, and provide necessary information to the development team for resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience and alignment with business requirements.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and communicate any potential risks or challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Mobile App Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficient in using bug-tracking tools and test management systems.
• Solid knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and mobile app development processes.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and provide constructive feedback.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of the logistics industry and previous experience in testing logistics-related applications is desirable but not required.
