Our client, a leading Tech Company in Akwa Ibom State, is looking for a professional Webmaster who will work with our team of webmasters to ensure quality control and the smooth running of the day-to-day web activities of the company.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.
• Ensuring effective website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
• Quality-test and troubleshoot the website and/or its applications in various browsers.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

As a staff for this position, you must possess:

• Any academic qualification with a minimum of 8 years of working experience and 3 years in web development or similar role and relevant IT skills.
• Strong familiarity with WordPress
• Should have a laptop and a smartphone.
• Web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular
• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails
• Content management systems (CMSs) such as WordPress, Joomla, and Squarespace
• UI/UX design experience
• REST API development
