Website Designer at Halcyon, Remote (United States)

Halcyon is seeking a Website Designer to help bring our digital experiences to life across our corporate website and the Ransomware Research Center. This is a hands-on creative role for a designer who loves blending visual design, storytelling, and production execution. 

You’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Website Developer and the Director of Web & Digital to create modern, high-impact designs that elevate Halcyon’s brand and effectively communicate complex ideas in clear, visual ways. This role combines creativity with craft, from building new pages and visual components to producing digital assets and supporting day-to-day web content operations. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Web Design & UX

• Design new website pages, components, and templates in Figma or directly in Webflow.
• Maintain and evolve the website design system for visual consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to design landing pages and campaign experiences.
• Optimize user flows for clarity, engagement, and conversion.

Design Execution

• Translate designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Webflow pages in collaboration with the Website Manager.
• Implement animations, interactions, and motion design that enhance the user experience.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility, SEO, and brand standards.
• Balance visual creativity with practical implementation and performance.

Collaboration & Optimization

• Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to deliver new web projects and campaigns.
• Contribute to A/B testing and data-driven design improvements.
• Collaborate with external design or UX partners when additional support is needed.
• Maintain alignment between the marketing website and product experience for consistent branding.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of experience in web or digital design, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment 
• Expertise in Figma, with a strong understanding of responsive design and user experience principles 
• Hands-on familiarity with Webflow CMS and the ability to implement or collaborate on live pages 
• Strong visual design skills in typography, layout, color, and motion 
• Knowledge of accessibility and SEO-friendly design practices 
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and design-to-development workflows 
• Experience contributing to A/B testing, localization, and digital campaign creative 
• Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable shifting between creative ideation and production execution 
• A portfolio showcasing visually strong, user-centered digital work that demonstrates both creativity and practicality

Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $135,000

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
