Data Analyst at CareMetx, Remote (United States)
The data analyst will be responsible for handling client exceptions and escalations, technical rule building and rules engine management, data analysis, and interfacing directly with clients and technical contacts. The Analyst must demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, have a team orientation, an adaptable nature, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and resolve data exceptions, validations, and field escalations from batch and API traffic
- Communicate with clients/customers effectively regarding technical issues and resolution
- Manage, improve, and create datasets in rules engines across multiple products and offerings
- Interpret data, analyze results, filter, and “clean” data
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and process improvement opportunities
- Document and maintain business and functional requirements and ensure persistence
- Utilize time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities to handle multiple and parallel projects, deliverables while working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Maintain user confidence and protect the business by keeping information confidential
- Occasional travel may be required
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including being present, on time, and prepared for work as scheduled.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to work closely with client(s) to achieve understanding of client’s needs
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, ability to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and a service orientation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Productivity Apps (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with APIs, using SoapUI, PostMan, or similar application
- Querying experience with SQL or a similar language
- Business knowledge of the healthcare industry, specialty pharma, hub services, and methods for getting patients on therapy faster
- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transaction set experience
- HIPAA
