Data Analytics Intern at Flexera, Remote (United States)
We are seeking a motivated and curious Summer Intern to join our Data Analytics team. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about data, eager to learn, and excited to gain hands-on experience supporting real-world analytics initiatives. As a Data & Analytics Intern, you will work closely with our team to explore datasets, analyze trends, and contribute to projects that help drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
- Support the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Work with team members to identify data quality issues and help perform data validation.
- Use Excel to manipulate datasets, perform preliminary analysis, and build basic models.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and collaborate on ongoing data initiatives.
- Learn and apply data analytics best practices through hands-on project work.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of data analytics fundamentals, such as data types, metrics, and analytical problem solving approaches.
- Handson experience with Excel, including functions, pivot tables, charts, or similar tools.
- Strong interest and passion for data, analytics, and technology—you enjoy exploring data and asking questions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
