Product Manager, Authorization at Tabby, Remote (Global)
A Product Manager in Authorization combines classic product management skills with strong data analysis expertise and understanding of the Authorization domain.
We are transforming into a full-scale banking app, and the Authorization team is at the core of this shift. This role focuses on building secure, scalable login, authentication and authorization services (think biometrics, MFA, and fraud prevention), that serve both B2C and B2B customers. You’ll ensure seamless access across products while aligning with regulations in key markets in the GCC area. It’s a rare chance to shape foundational services at a time when the platform is expanding rapidly into cards, wallets, money transfers, and more.
What you will be doing
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the components of Authentication & Authorization domain: Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) in App and Web, Fingerprint SDK’s and JS-scripts, Consent Management.
- Define and evolve the platform vision and roadmap, transforming fragmented and product-specific solutions into scalable, reusable components used across multiple Tabby products B2C and B2B.
- Lead complex cross-functional project activities, coordinating across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Data, and Product teams to launch platform features that serve millions of customers.
- Ensure transparent, data-driven prioritization, balancing business needs, technical constraints, regulatory changes, and partner team dependencies.
- Design user-friendly and compliant experiences, leveraging strong UX/UI evaluation skills to embed Authentication & Authorization flows seamlessly into web and mobile customer-facing journeys.
- Navigate multi-country contexts, understanding regulatory nuances and market-specific requirements to deliver compliant yet friction-minimal solutions.
What you will need
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management in Authorization domain
Domain expertise
- Deep understanding of the current market state and authorization workflows in financial products
- Deep understanding of MFA, Device Intelligence SDKs, Fingerprint solutions
- Experience in implementing Session management and MFA solutions. Nice to have: experience with the Trusted device or Passkeys concepts
Nice to have:
- prior experience as a Data Analyst, Security Engineer, Development Team Lead, combined with experience in Product Management
Product & Project Management Skills
- Problem identification, product solution design, prioritization
- Defining product vision and strategy, setting and tracking OKRs
- Building metrics trees and defining key product metrics
Technical & Delivery Skills
- Experience in A/B testing, combined with understanding of data analysis, quantitative metrics, basics of SQL
- Solid business and system analysis skills with a broad technical perspective
- Ability to assess whether a proposed solution architecture meets requirements, and to challenge architectural decisions when necessary
- Experience designing high-level architectural concepts, data models, and APIs
- Experience evaluating the technical quality of a product and its delivery processes, including technical monitoring and reliability practices
Communication
- Strong verbal and written English skills (at least B2)
- Strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate vision, decisions, and trade-offs in C-level forums
