About the role

You would be joining our AI team to help ML engineers transform ideas into code and support our system in production. The range of problems that we work on is pretty broad & usually heavy on computer vision (document classification, liveness, face match, and many more…).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining production codebase for computer-vision & deep learning project (set of dockerized backend services)
• Reviewing new code from computer vision developers
• Reducing technical debt (architectural improvements, refactoring, etc)
• Developing/supporting internal tools (for provisioning, automatic testing,
  bench-marking, dataset acquisition, maintenance, etc.)
• Monitoring the system in production

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of python and docker

• Experience with image layer optimization to reuse cache as much as possible

• Ability to debug code running in a container

• Knowledge about memory management details in python
• Experience with writing and maintaining automatic test suites for API
• Proficiency with VCS (we use git)
• Located in any Russian or CIS region at least part-time, given our team presence there

Bonus

• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience with computer vision / deep learning and related libraries (OpenCV, PyTorch, NumPy, etc.)
