🇨🇳 Beijing Normal University CSC University Program 2025–2026: Fully Funded Scholarships for International Students 

Overview

The Chinese Government Scholarship – University Program (BNU) supports outstanding international students who are directly recommended by Beijing Normal University. It finances undergraduate, master’s, and PhD studies in China.
The scholarship covers full tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend, and medical insurance — allowing students to study in Chinese or English depending on the program.

Eligibility

• Must meet all requirements stated in the BNU Admission Brochure for International Students

• Must not hold any other scholarship

• Must meet the following degree and age criteria:

  • Undergraduate: High school graduate, ≤ 25 years old

  • Master’s: Bachelor’s degree holder, ≤ 35 years old

  • Doctoral: Master’s degree holder, ≤ 40 years old

• For Chinese-taught programs, applicants must submit a valid HSK certificate

• For English-taught programs, applicants must provide IELTS/TOEFL or other accepted proof of English proficiency

• Applicants for undergraduate programs must submit the CSCA Score Report

Program Components

Application Requirements

You must submit the full set of documents required by both BNU and CSC, including:

• Completed CSC Application Form (Type B; Agency Code: 10027)

• BNU online application via the BNU International Student Application System

• Passport information page

• Highest degree certificate + transcript (notarized)

• Language proficiency certificates (HSK, IELTS, TOEFL)

• CSCA Score Report (for undergraduate applicants)

• Study or research plan (200–1000+ words depending on study level)

• Recommendation letters:

  • Undergraduate: 1 letter

  • Postgraduate: 2 letters from professors/associate professors

• Portfolio (for arts/design applicants)

• Foreigner Physical Examination Form

• Police Clearance Certificate

• Guardian documents (if under 18)

Selection Criteria

Candidates are evaluated based on:

• Academic performance

• Language proficiency

• Study or research plan quality

• Recommendation strength

• Completeness and authenticity of documents

• BNU’s internal review + CSC final approval

Application Process

1. Apply through the BNU International Student Application System

2. Register and complete the CSC application (Type B; Agency Number: 10027)

3. Print, sign, and re-submit the CSC form if any changes are made

4. Submit all paper documents to Beijing Normal University before the deadline

5. Await BNU’s review → nomination → final CSC approval
