Overview

Halmstad University offers multiple scholarship opportunities for international students applying to Master’s programmes, as well as exchange students. Funding comes from:

Eligibility

For Halmstad University Master’s Scholarships

Applicants must:

• Apply to an HU Master’s programme as first priority.

• Apply by 15 January at University Admissions.

• Pay the application fee.

• Receive eligibility email to access scholarship form.

For Swedish Institute Scholarships

• Must meet all SI programme-specific criteria (Varies by programme).

• Apply for eligible Master’s programs.

• Women in STEM have a dedicated scholarship route.

For Erasmus Exchange Scholarships

Must:

• Be a citizen of an Erasmus-participating country.

• Be a registered university student.

• Have completed one year of studies before mobility (not required for traineeships).

• Be enrolled at a university that has a partnership with Halmstad University.

Benefits

• Automatically extended each semester if 75% of credits are passed
