The GREAT Scholarships 2026, funded by the British Council in partnership with the GREAT Britain Campaign, offer international students the opportunity to study a one-year postgraduate Master’s degree in the UK.
For the 2026 academic year, the University of Edinburgh is offering 3 scholarships specifically for students from Ghana, Mexico, and Thailand.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Hold an offer (or be applying) for an eligible Master’s programme at the University of Edinburgh

Be starting studies in 2026

Have achieved or expect to achieve the equivalent of a UK First-Class Honours degree

Demonstrate strong academic merit
