Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), invites applications for the 2025 NNPCL/Chevron JV National University Scholarship Awards. This program is part of their commitment to supporting education in Nigeria by providing financial assistance to academically outstanding students in Nigerian universities.

2025 NNPCL/Chevron JV National University Scholarship Awards: Eligibility

E-applications are invited from:
Full-time SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) undergraduate students in Nigerian universities (admitted during the 2023/2024 academic session).
Applicants must be studying any of the following courses:

• Accountancy

• Agricultural Science

• Architecture

• Business Administration/Economics

• Computer Science

• Environmental Studies/Surveying

• Geology/Geophysics/Geo Informatics

• Law

• Mass Communication/Journalism

• Engineering

• Dentistry

• Pharmacy

• Medicine/Surgery

Academic Criteria (For regular students):

• Minimum CGPA: 3.5 on a 5.0 scale

• Minimum of 6 O’Level credits in one sitting

For Blind/Visually Impaired Students:

• Minimum CGPA: 2.5 on a 5.0 scale

• Minimum of 5 O’Level credits

Restrictions:

• Applicants cannot apply for any other scholarship from Chevron, NNPCL, or their affiliates.

• Only SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) students admitted in 2023/2024 can apply.

• Applications submitted via any other medium (email, hard copy) will not be accepted.

• False documents will lead to disqualification.

Application Requirements

Prepare clear scanned copies of the following documents (appropriately named before upload):

1. Passport photograph (white background, 450px by 450px, < 200KB)

2. School ID card

3. Admission Letter

4. Birth Certificate

5. O’Level Result

6. JAMB Result

7. Local Government Area Identification Letter

8. Optional: National Identification Number (NIN)
