 2025 Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship Overview
AstraZeneca is inviting passionate young leaders advocating for health equity to apply for the 2025 Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship. The Fellowship provides funding, learning opportunities, and participation in the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany. Fellows will receive a fully-funded scholarship for the summit and a grant of up to $50,000 to implement health projects through their non-profit organizations.
 2025 Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be 18 – 30 years old (exceptions may apply for impactful leaders).
- Be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Be a founder or leader of a registered non-profit organization that:
- Has been operational for at least 3 years.
- Meets the financial requirements:
- $10,000 – $1,000,000 annual income for a $10,000 grant.
- $100,000 – $2,000,000 annual income for a $50,000 grant.
- Operates in underserved communities.
- Can provide required financial and governance documents for funding verification.
- Be committed to attending the One Young World Summit (Nov 2-7, 2025) in Munich, Germany.
- Have internet access for online Fellowship sessions.
 2025 Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship Benefits
Fellows will receive:
- Full delegate access to the One Young World Summit 2025 (Munich, Germany).
- Travel & accommodation (economy flights, private hotel, meals).
- Visa fee reimbursement (approx. £75).
- Networking opportunities: Join the YHP Alumni Network and Advisory Board.
- Professional development: Access to One Young World Academy (mini-MBA), live & self-paced training.
- Project funding:
- $10,000 grant (for eligible organizations with income between $10K-$1M).
- $50,000 grant (if selected as the Lead2030 Challenge winner).
Fellowship/Program Components
- Advocacy & Policy Change: Focus on health equity in areas like NCD prevention (nutrition, tobacco, alcohol control, physical activity, air quality) and rare disease access.
- Project Implementation: Fellows must run a 6-12 month project addressing NCD prevention or rare diseases in underserved communities.
- Impact Reporting: Fellows must provide project reports on results, policies influenced, and community impact.
 2025 Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a proposal for a 6-12 month health project that:
- Focuses on NCD prevention (e.g., policy change, health awareness, youth advocacy).
- Works with marginalized or vulnerable youth.
- Is measurable, impactful, and inclusive.
- Starts after October 2025 and ends by December 2026.

Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Leadership and advocacy for health equity.
- Clear policy impact goals.
- Organizational readiness to manage grant funds.
- Commitment to the Fellowship and One Young World Summit.
