The Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarship is a prestigious initiative designed to attract outstanding international students to Western Australia’s five top universities. For Semester 1, 2026, this scholarship offers $50,000 towards course fees and university-related expenses. A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded, with 2 recipients per university.

Application Deadline: Applications open: 9:00 AM (AWST), 1 August 2025

Scholarship Categories

Undergraduate and Postgraduate (course-specific as defined by each university)

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a new offshore international student
• Must apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at one of Western Australia’s 5 universities
• Must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries listed below

Documents Required

• Completed application form (from your chosen university’s website)
• Proof of citizenship
• Admission documents for your selected course
• Other documents as specified by the university

Important Notes

• Only new offshore international students are eligible
• Domestic students and current onshore students are not eligible
• Each university may have additional requirements or specific courses eligible for the scholarship
• Application forms will be available from 9:00 AM (AWST), Friday 1 August 2025

Selection Process

• Apply directly through the university’s application portal
• Universities will assess and select 2 students each
• A total of 10 students will be awarded annually
