Fundraising Associate
The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for a Fundraising Associate (Contractor) to join our team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Campaigns. As the Fundraising Associate (Contractor), you will be a key participant in the online fundraising team’s year-round, multilingual fundraising and engagement campaigns. The Fundraising Associate (Contractor) will work with the Online team supporting the operational part of our campaigns, ensuring all improvements are tracked and documented, email and banner templates are reviewed and email performance statistics are updated in a timely manner, amongst other tasks. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented individual, who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. In this role, you will be a critical part of enabling the structure on which our campaigns thrive, and support part of a seamless end-to-end donation experience.
You are responsible for:
- Supporting email and banner content review
- Compiling, verifying and organizing project information in our systems
- Update information from database into monitoring reports sheet
- Supporting Email database hygiene
- Creating and maintaining benchmark summary reports
- Creating slide deck with highlights for presentations
- Cleaning up templates and maintenance archives
- Supporting documentation and summaries
Skills and Experience:
- Highly detail-oriented and an interest in online fundraising
- 1-3 years of experience
- Comfortable in Excel (or spreadsheets)
- Organized, efficient, and consistently meets deadlines
- A team player with strong communications skills
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- The ability to work and communicate effectively within a large team distributed across multiple time zones and with varying degrees of technical proficiency.
- Preferred but not required: experience with email service providers, Asana
