Overview

The Client Engagement Assistant will work within the fast-paced Client Engagement team to field new enquiries and handle consultation calls, progressing enquiries through to being matched with a Virtalent VA, and then activating their account.

This is an exciting opportunity, especially for someone who enjoys speaking to new people and being genuinely curious about solving their “problems”.

Our clients are highly successful, but busy business owners who need more support – each client has a different story to tell, making the role varied and interesting.There is no “hard sell” at Virtalent – we are focused on building authentic, long-term relationships with our clients.

Role & responsibilities

The CEA will:

  • Field new enquiries from the website, live chat and telephone calls.
  • Conduct 1:1 consultation calls with prospective clients, discussing their goals and needs, and explaining the service offered by Virtalent.
  • Prepare notes from these calls.
  • Evaluate the Virtual Assistants who have expressed interest in the client opportunity, selecting the most suitable team member for each.
  • Prepare a proposal for the prospective client, recommending your chosen Virtalent Virtual Assistant.
  • Arranging calls between VAs and prospective clients.
  • Record videos and other personalised content where needed, to add a “personal touch” to the sales process.
  • Follow up and manage each party appropriately, with an aim to secure a new account sign up from each customer.
  • Maintaining an accurate database/pipeline at all times.
  • Providing holiday/illness cover and general day-to-day support to the Client Engagement Manager.
  • Generate new business for the company under the guidance of the Client Engagement Manager – for example by attending online networking events or running online lead generation campaigns on LinkedIn.
  • Work on ad-hoc marketing and content writing requirements, not limited to those generated directly from the Client Engagement team.
  • Maintain a strong LinkedIn presence, building new client relationships on behalf of the company and helping promote our company brand.

The CEA is also expected to assist the team with other ad-hoc duties, if and when required by the business. On occasion, these would likely extend to:

  • Providing holiday cover and ad-hoc support to the Client Success and Recruitment team, assisting with account management of customers at Virtalent.
  • The writing of VA profiles.
  • Assisting the rest of the team with administrative tasks, research and other support to assist the growth and management of the company.

Qualifications needed:

  • Experience in a similar sales or business development role.
  • Experience working remotely preferred.
  • Demonstrated previous success in a similar role.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • A naturally proactive, confident approach, including when under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to self-manage.
  • Thrives working in fast-paced roles whilst maintaining high standards and quality of work.
