Description

We are seeking experienced IT Technical Support Specialist to join our Polish department focused on developing and maintaining an online payment gateway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle communication (mostly by email) with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders to solve software queries, including answering questions, troubleshooting, implementation and resolving issues quickly;
  • Work closely with Sales/Account Management and Development team;
  • Maintain polite and professional communications with customers;
  • Communicate with fellow technicians, development, and management to resolve issues in an efficient manner;
  • Train end users on programming and utilizing the software;
  • Respond to and participate in resolution of production issues;
  • Identify and escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams;
  • Document and maintain technical knowledge base articles;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in user technical support and troubleshooting – must have;
  • Ability to work with both technical and nontechnical personnel to solve software, payment processing, and other related issues – must have;
  • Fluent English written and spoken – must have;
  • Experience with using REST API – must have;
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation;
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and issues simultaneously and work well under pressure;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical end-users;
  • A strong customer service focus;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with programming basics in JavaScript, PHP
