Accounts and Contracting Analyst

Helium Health is a full-service Healthtech company that provides a suite of solutions for healthcare providers, payers, and patients in emerging markets — at the core of which is our SaaS based electronic medical records/hospital management information system (EMR/HMIS).

The Account and Contracting Analyst will be responsible for the entire contracting process from pre-award to close-out, including cost negotiations, execution, monitoring, ensuring full compliance to all Helium policies and overall administration.

Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Analysis

  • Review and develop sub-award proposals, contracts, Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement, Legal opinions, Letters and Proposals, quotations (RFA, RFP), scopes of work and budgets in collaboration with the Legal team & Finance team.

  • Prepare pre-award assessments for new sub-awards and determine appropriate invoice/report schedule and actual cost documentation.

  • Prepare the sub-award procurement package, including but not limited to the cost negotiation, sub-award agreement, invoice template, and other documentation required by the business compliance team.

  • Manage modification and close-out of sub-awards, coordinating closely with Finance and Legal to ensure close-out protocol is followed.

  • Contribute to the development of procurement of grants for Helium Health

  •  Evaluate new business deals with Helium Health clients or subcontractors as well as assist in Contract Negotiations and Administration.

Accounts & Finance Management

  • Define templates, standards, and pricing patterns to be used to ensure the organization has a robust estimating process

  • Perform variance reporting. understand product cost structure, identify and analyze quarterly variances, and visualize pricing deltas

  • Manage the submission of invoices and all financial reporting from sub-awardees and other partners and ensure financial requirements are submitted, approved, and processed on a timely basis, working closely with the Finance team to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices and other financial obligations.

  • Manage cost-share reporting to ensure meeting targets and complying with requirements.

  • Manage the Service Agreements for program monitoring and financial review. Reviews deliverables and prepares a summary of the findings for clients.

  • Review and process consultant and partners fee payment requests and ensures proper technical approval, in alignment with the approved level of effort, budget, and other contractual compliance. Close out contracts on a timely basis.

  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 – 5 years’ professional work experience in a finance and contracting position.

  • Strong understanding of contracting concepts and principles.

  • Strong and solid command of procedures requiring comprehensive knowledge of contracting principles.

  • Proven skills in the development of SOWs, negotiations, sub-award management, grant writing.

  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills applied to successful completion of tasks.

  • Previous experience in developing revenue projections and managing budgets preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology to facilitate procedures and achieve project goals and objectives.

  • Resilient and result-driven, with great prospecting skills. Proven ability in developing strong relationships and partners and investors.

  • Ability to think creatively with an innovative mindset that is constantly looking for ways to improve things.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and flexible work style.

  • A very good communicator. Strong presentation, listening, written and verbal skills.

  • First Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law. The equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable.
