Job Title: Machine Specialist

About the Role:

The Machine Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting

of machinery in the manufacturing plant. They will work with a team of engineers and

technicians to ensure that the machines are operating safely and efficiently. The ideal

candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and

experience with Krones machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Execute the maintenance and inspections in compliance with the agreed

maintenance concept (work-flow control).

● Provide support to resolve breakdowns within the shortest time.

● Ensure faulty components are repaired and made available for reuse.

● Assist in organizing maintenance stoppages, maintenance overhauls and other

maintenance activities

● Keep the machines, tools, workshop in good condition.

● Identify maintenance components (consumable spare parts) to keep in stock,

with focus around the dedicated work area (Machine)

● Carry out audit on work area (Machine) with the aim to ensure mach

Qualifications:

● First Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

● Membership of NSE and COREN certified is added advantage

● At least 5 years post-NYSC practical, job-relevant experience in a well-structured

manufacturing (botting) company, with specific expertise in Krones Machines.

● Proficient in the use of machinery maintenance and repair tools and equipment.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
