Job Title: Portfolio Officer
- Monitor and manage assigned customer portfolios to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company strategies.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and re balancing to meet customer’s’ changing financial goals and market conditions.
- Collaborate with Data, Collections, Call center, Retrieval and Growth teams on a daily basis
- Utilize data sets to perform analytics and propose solutions
- Prepare and present detailed portfolio performance reports to managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing personalized service and addressing their financial needs and concerns.
- Respond to customers inquiries and requests promptly and accurately.
- Educate customers on their financial obligations to enhance their understanding and confidence.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for our portfolios, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless portfolio management and customer service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for customer’s credit-related escalations.
- Assist in the on boarding sessions for new customers to handle portfolio-related sessions.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of portfolio management processes and tools.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years experience in credit and portfolio risk management at a bank, lending, or fin-Tech institution
- Relevant professional certification AAT, ACA, CIMA
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to source data/ perform periodic computations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with and influence people at all levels
- High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability
