Job Title: Content Intern

Duplo is a Lagos-based fintech startup on a mission to simplify B2B payments across Africa. Our platform helps businesses digitize their receivables and payables, reduce time-to-cash, and lower transaction costs, enabling them to generate more revenue.

We’re backed by leading investors including Tribe Capital, Commerce Ventures, Liquid2 Ventures, Basecamp Fund, Soma Capital, Y Combinator, Oui Capital, and others. Now, we’re looking for a Content Intern to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in creating impactful content that will help Duplo grow its brand and presence in the market. You’ll work closely with the Content Manager and the Marketing Team to assist with content creation and strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for blog posts, social media, newsletters, and email campaigns
• Shoot in-house videos to promote our employer brand on our social media accounts
• Conduct research to support content ideas and ensure relevance to our target audience
• Support the team in implementing content strategies that drive brand awareness and lead generation
• Help manage and schedule posts across Duplo’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
• Provide support to and engage with Duplo’s community of finance professionals
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Strong interest in content creation, digital marketing, or communications
• Amazing writing and editing skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools
• Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for fintech and a passion for storytelling
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
