Wilson and Yinka Adebajo Foundation Legacy Scholarship 2025 Overview
The Legacy Scholarship is a financial assistance program that has been offered by the foundation since 2008. It is designed to support brilliant, indigent students pursuing a higher education degree at any public tertiary institution in Nigeria, including Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.
This is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship. Read below for more details on eligibility and application requirements.
Wilson and Yinka Adebajo Foundation Legacy Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Nigeria and currently studying (or already admitted to study) at a public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
(Eligible institutions include the West African Theological Seminary and the Life Theological Seminary, Ikorodu.) - Must meet all basic eligibility criteria at the time of application submission.
- Must submit a complete scholarship application form online.
- If accepted into a public tertiary institution but have not yet started coursework, you must provide your JAMB admission letter.
- If already enrolled and undergoing studies, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to be considered.
- If selected as a potential awardee, you must provide a letter of recommendation from one of the following:
- A cleric from your local assembly
- Your Head of Department
- Your Course Adviser
- The Dean of Students
- An interview with the scholarship board may be required at the discretion of the board.
- There is no age requirement to apply for or qualify for this scholarship.
Wilson and Yinka Adebajo Foundation Legacy Scholarship 2025 Award Timeline
March 15th: Scholarship application portal opens
April 30th: Scholarship application deadline
May 1st – June 13th: Application screening and Awardees selection
June 16th – July 11th: Awardee notification and second round interviews (Note: Only selected awardees will be notified)
July 21st: Final list of Awardees provided to Board of Trustees
August: Awardees recognised during Annual Memorial Lecture and scholarships awarded
