Job Title: Environmental Scientist

As the Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing environmental and other related type of assessments/documents, policies and procedures. You will be tasked with evolution of smart and workable ideas in challenging environmental scenarios and issues, and be well involved in the company’s overall growth plans as an apex E&S service provider. The ES1 is expected to have been exposed to various types of assessments, studies, plans and reviews in the environmental space and should be brainy.

Key Functions

Environmental Documentation Management

• Analyze and prepare various Environmental Assessment Reports, Plans and related documents.
• Coordinate and work with multi-disciplinary teams to gather and interpret data, efficiently manage records and materials, use of basic fieldwork tools etc.
• Review, revise, submit and finalize documents to meet regulatory and industry standards.

Stakeholder Communication

• Liaise with project teams, proponents, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders through fluent verbal and written communication means.
• Support the regulatory approval process for environmental documents and reports.
• Address and respond to environmental concerns raised by proponents and stakeholders.

Technical Support & Collaboration

• Provide input to HSE-related projects.
• Demonstrate high level of technical competence in environmental and sustainability issues.
• Participate in tendering processes for environmental projects, including developing proposals and tenders.
• Work with management team to develop resources for environmental, ESG and HS structures.

Competencies (Skills, Experience, And Knowledge)

• Career Passion is a MUST
• Maximum of Bachelor’s or Higher Diploma degree in Environmental, biological or physical sciences field.
• 1-2 year verifiable and practical experience.
• Research, Report preparation and scientific data analysis is required
• Strength in at least 1 environmental component/aspect is an edge
• Professional certification will be an added advantage

Must reside within the Mainland area of Lagos.

Pay: ₦120,000.00 – ₦160,000.00 per month
