The University of Edinburgh Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-2026 Overview
The Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship offers four scholarships for eligible postgraduate programs at the University of Edinburgh for the 2025-2026 academic session. The scholarship aims to support students pursuing Human Medical programmes, with a particular focus on applicants from Africa.
The University of Edinburgh Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-2026 Eligibility
- Open to applicants accepted for admission to an eligible Human Medical programme in the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Available for both online and on-campus programs (see full list in the official announcement).
- Applicants must be domiciled in one of the eligible countries listed in the scholarship announcement.
- Preference is given to applicants who have an unconditional offer at the time of application.
- Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree.

- Covers full tuition fees for the duration of the programme.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- A completed online scholarship application form.
- A personal statement (max 3500 characters) addressing:
- What attracted them to the programme at the University of Edinburgh.
- How the programme will benefit their career and personal development.
- How they plan to contribute to their community/country after completion.
Selection Criteria
- Based on academic merit and the strength of the personal statement.
- Priority is given to applicants who have not previously studied at the master’s level.

- Apply for admission to the University of Edinburgh.
- Once the application is processed (which may take up to five working days), access the scholarship application system via MyEd: https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk.
- Complete and submit the online scholarship application before the deadline.
Notification
- Successful applicants will be notified by late June/early July 2025.
