Erasmus+ Scholarship 2025 for Teachers, Researchers, and Students  Overview

The Erasmus+ KA171 scholarship is now open for application at the Universidad de Mendoza (UM). This international opportunity is aimed at teachers, researchers, and students of the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design (FAUD–UM). The program fosters academic collaboration and mobility between UM and the University of Alicante (UA), Spain, with a special focus on teaching innovation and architectural design.

Erasmus+ Scholarship 2025 for Teachers, Researchers, and Students Eligibility

For Teachers (FAUD–UM):

• Must be teaching in the Architecture degree course on Mendoza, Río Cuarto, or San Rafael campuses.

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience at FAUD–UM.

• Not eligible if:

  • Part of the FAUD Management Team.

  • Have held tenure for more than 7 years.

  • Previously participated in Erasmus+ or similar mobility programs.

For Students:

• Must be enrolled at Universidad de Mendoza.

• Eligible to participate in exchange programs through the mobility program (specific student requirements/details to be obtained from the International Relations Department).

Erasmus+ Scholarship 2025 for Teachers, Researchers, and Students: Benefits

• Travel support: €1,500 (for travel distance over 8,000 km)

• Individual support: €1,120

• Academic exchange at the University of Alicante (Spain)

• Experience in international teaching/training environments

• Development of joint projects and academic cooperation

• Only 1 teacher scholarship available for 2025

• Letter of Guarantee

• Affidavit

• Completed Online Application Form

Selection Criteria

• Evaluation by Universidad de Mendoza based on a pre-established grid

• Final selection by the University of Alicante

• Priority given to candidates who have never received Erasmus+ funding

Restrictions

• Cannot combine this scholarship with other financial aid

• Financial aid will be reduced by 24% without a Tax Withholding Certificate (to avoid double taxation)

• All expenses must be documented with invoices/receipts in the teacher’s name

• Teacher must fund their own travel initially and arrange for visa, insurance, tickets, and accommodation

Application Process

• Deadline: March 15 – July 1, 2025

• Submit all required documents online in PDF format

• Await pre-selection by UM and final confirmation by UA

• Coordinate travel and academic details directly with UA once accepted
