Study in Slovakia: Scholarships for Talented International Students 2025–2026: Overview
The Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic invites talented students from around the world to apply for its fully funded scholarship program. This opportunity is for international students who wish to pursue full-time bachelor’s, master’s, or combined bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Slovakia in fields aligned with the Smart Specialisation Strategy (SK RIS3 2021+).

Open to students from all countries worldwide

Must apply to study full-time in Slovakia

Must have a minimum SAT score of 1100
-
Must apply between 24 June and 31 July 2025 (23:59 CET)

Proof of SAT test results (minimum 1100)

Completed application via the official scholarship portal

Admission documents from a Slovak university (if already available)

The scholarship is applicable to selected study programs aligned with SK RIS3 2021+

Some programs are available tuition-free and in English or Slovak
Selection Process

Main criterion: SAT score (minimum 1100)

Preference may be given to students in strategic fields such as technology, innovation, and sustainable development

Applications are reviewed based on academic merit and program alignment

Up to €15,000 total:
