Social Media Content Developer

DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a super talented content developer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our organizational needs and design solutions with high visual impact.

REQUIREMENT SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will create original content for the company website, all social media accounts, newsletters, press releases, articles, advertising and online marketing. You will be responsible for research and development of new online marketing strategies, as well as search engine optimization.

The ideal candidate must be young, think out of the box, extroverted, intelligent, charming, confident, persistent, must have a focus on excellence, and must strongly align with being bold, creative and collaborative.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You must be able to routinely create a content calendar, as well as an editorial calendar
• You must be able to develop content strategy of long and short-term marketing targets, analyze content performance and suggest routine improvement
• You must employ various online and offline tools in planning, preparing, and maximizing promotion of the company brand
• You must understand how to design graphics using photoshop and other design tools
• Develop subject matter expertise by staying on current trends evolving digital media channels and related technologies
• You are required to write creative bi-monthly articles, newsletters and must be abreast with industry trends
• Must ensure that SEO marketing strategy is employed to ensure maximum reach to new and existing clients, as well as drive high engagement

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have

• A strong 2”1 in Marketing, Communications, Arts, Humanities or any other related discipline
• Minimum experience level (2 years cognate experience)
• Effective communication skills which entails a mastery in oral and written communication
• Ability to make written and oral presentations
• Excellent attention to detail which entails an eye for clean design and user-interface design skill
• Good personal organizational skills
• Must be skilled with infographics, a critical thinker with a strong design-sense and an eye for making things better
• Working knowledge of software tools such as InDesign, Canva, Adobe Photoshop and CorelDraw Graphics Suite, 3D Paint, etc. a MUST
• Professional trainings and certifications, an added advantage
