Lombardy Regional Scholarships 2025–2026 – Diritto allo Studio: Overview

The Lombardy government, in collaboration with the Ministry of University and Research and the EU (Next Generation EU), offers regional scholarships to support university students through financial aid and free access to university dining services. These scholarships are awarded through a merit and income-based competition.

Application Deadline

• Opens: 18 July 2025

• Closes: 30 September 2025

Scholarship Categories

• Undergraduate

• Master’s (excluding first-level master’s)

• PhD (excluding those with existing grants or scholarships)

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be regularly enrolled in a university program

• Must not hold another scholarship for the same academic year

• Must not be enrolled in a part-time program

• Must not be repeating a level already completed

• Must not hold a degree of the same or higher level in Italy

Documents Required

• Access to Online Service Desk via university login (for prospective students: register with Unimi first)

• Personal and academic details required for the application

Important Notes

• Scholarship is disbursed via the “Carta La Statale,” which must be activated as a prepaid card (Flash Up Studio La Statale)

• Not open to students in first-level master’s, medical specialization schools, or doctoral programs with scholarships/research grants
