Study Medicine and Health Sciences in Taiwan with Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarships 2026: Eligibility Criteria

• International students must meet Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) regulations

• Overseas Chinese and students from Hong Kong or Macao must meet residency and educational background requirements

• Mainland China students must apply through the University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students

• Applicants must possess the relevant academic qualifications for each program level

  • Undergraduate: High school diploma recognized by the MOE

  • Post-Baccalaureate Medicine: Bachelor’s degree recognized by the MOE

  • Master’s: Bachelor’s degree or higher recognized by the MOE

  • PhD: Master’s degree or higher recognized by the MOE

Application Process

• Visit the official KMU application portal at admission dot kmu dot edu dot tw

• Choose a degree level and register for an account

• Upload the required documents and complete the application form

• Print and sign the application form and re-upload it

• Add at least two referees for each program

• Submit the application before the deadline

Important Notes

• Applicants can apply to a maximum of three programs

• Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be accepted

• Post-Baccalaureate Medicine applicants must pay an application fee

• All submitted documents must be verified by the ROC representative office
