The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) in Thailand is offering 15 fully funded scholarships for the 2026 academic year to outstanding international students pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, or Chemical Sciences. Founded in 2005 under the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, CGI focuses on producing skilled researchers and leaders who can contribute to sustainable development. The scholarship covers a 6-week refresher course followed by 2 years of Master’s study.

Fully Funded 2026 Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) International Postgraduate Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria

• Must be under 30 years old (no exceptions)

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 in one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, or related fields

• Have experience in scientific laboratory research

• Demonstrated English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS preferred)

• Submit a statement of purpose explaining interest in the chosen field

Documents Required

• Completed CGI scholarship application form

• Full undergraduate academic transcript

• Three recommendation letters

• Statement of purpose

• Medical history report

• Other supporting documents for application screening

Important Notes

• Thai citizens must apply through a separate national scholarship

• Refresher courses start in June 2025, academic program begins in August 2025

• Applications must be sent both by email and post before the deadline

• Applications close on 30 September 2025

Selection Process: Selection is merit-based, considering academic performance, research experience, and alignment with CGI’s programs. Successful applicants will be notified around January 2026.
