ACU Executive Dean’s International Scholarship for International Students: Overview

The Australian Catholic University (ACU) offers the Executive Dean’s International Scholarship to high-achieving international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs. The scholarship rewards academic excellence and aims to support outstanding students from specific eligible countries.

Value

The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction per semester for the minimum CRICOS-registered duration of the course. Reductions vary by faculty and course year:

Faculty of Education and Arts

• Arts Programs (Diploma, Bachelor, Masters):

  • 1st Year: 5%, 2nd Year: 20%, 3rd Year: 20%

• Education/Teaching Programs (Diploma, Bachelor, Masters):

  • 1st Year: 5%, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year: 15%

Faculty of Law and Business

• Bachelor and Masters (Coursework):

  • 1st Year: 5%, 2nd Year: 20%, 3rd Year: 20%

Faculty of Health Science

• All programs (except excluded courses):

  • 1st Year: 5%, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year: 15%

• Bachelor of Nursing:

  • 1st Year: 5%, 2nd & 3rd Year: 10%

Eligible Courses

Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees (excluding one-year Honours programs and the following Health Science courses):

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology

• Master of Dietetic Practice

• Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology

• All postgraduate Psychology programs

ACU Executive Dean’s International Scholarship for International Students: Eligibility Criteria

• Be a national of one of the following countries:
  Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Vietnam.

• Meet academic requirements equivalent to a GPA of 5.5 on the ACU 7-point scale

• Apply for an eligible course in the faculties listed above

• Must not be a Study Abroad or Exchange student

• Must not combine this scholarship with ACU Flourishing Lives or ACU International Launch Scholarship

• Must study at any on-campus Australian location (not online)

How to Apply

• No separate application is required.

• Applicants are automatically considered during the university application process.

• You must submit academic documents, translations (if applicable), and grading explanations.

• Based strictly on academic merit

• Conducted by ACU’s Global and Education Pathways team

Ongoing Requirements

• Stay enrolled in the same course

• Pay tuition fees by the due dates

• Serve as a student ambassador and support ACU promotional activities

• Maintain eligibility throughout the minimum CRICOS duration of the program
