What makes you a strong candidate:

• You have 3+ years of experience in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Shopify.
• You are proficient in responsive web design, UI design, UX design, and website design.
• English – Native or fully fluent.

Responsibilities and more:

• Design and customize the visual layout, user interface, and overall aesthetics of Shopify stores.
• Ensure a smooth and engaging online shopping experience, aligned with brand guidelines.

• Create and maintain custom Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Apply basic knowledge of Liquid or demonstrate a strong desire to learn.

• Implement responsive, user-friendly user interfaces optimized for all devices and browsers.
• Ensure performance and compatibility across all platforms, which is a critical aspect of the role.

• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback.
• Iterate on designs to improve the customer journey and increase conversion rates.

• Integrate third-party applications and plugins to enhance store functionality.
• Continuously optimize website performance and loading speed.

• Work closely with designers, developers, marketers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to team-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Shopify and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Shopify’s Liquid templating language is desired but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and cross-browser/device compatibility, which is essential.
• Experience conducting usability testing and iterating based on user feedback.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude and a collaborative mindset.
