About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Compliance Intern to join our Human Resources team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in HR compliance, employment law, and policy development. You’ll support key initiatives that ensure our HR practices align with federal, state, and local regulations, while contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in auditing HR policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support documentation and tracking of compliance activities, including training records and policy acknowledgments.
  • Participate in research projects related to employment law, workplace safety, and HR best practices.
  • Contribute to the annual review and update of the Employee Manual, including formatting, policy verification, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and compliance communications.
  • Assist with Form I-9 compliance, including documentation review, re-verification tracking, and internal audits.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders on compliance-related topics.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced skills preferred.
  • Interest in employment law, HR policy, or corporate compliance is a plus.

Salary Range:

$31,200.00 – $62,400.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
