Social Media Coordinator at Reproductive Freedom for All, Remote (United States)
The focus of this position will be to build capacity for the social team by supporting state social accounts and building a more robust state social media presence. The Social Media Coordinator will partner with state chapters to support and elevate local events, op-eds, and campaigns through Instagram and Twitter content. They will also monitor and track social media performance across chapter accounts, and share insights to help improve strategy and reach. The Social Media Coordinator will also maintain regular communication with state teams, offering digital support and responding to requests in a timely, collaborative manner.
The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to communicate effectively. They will also have a respect for and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The goal of the Social Media Coordinator will be to support the social media team by working directly with the states to grow their social media channels to reach more supporters and potential supporters in chapter states.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with state chapters to support and elevate local events, op-eds, and campaigns through Instagram and Twitter content;
- Under the direction of the Associate Director of Social Media, provide hands-on guidance and training to chapters on social media best practices, content planning, audience engagement, and platform trends;
- Review and offer feedback on chapter-generated content to ensure it aligns with the organization’s branding and messaging guidelines;
- Monitor and track social media performance across chapter accounts, and share insights to help improve strategy and reach;
- Maintain regular communication with state teams, offering digital support and responding to requests in a timely, collaborative manner;
- Work closely with the national communications team to ensure cohesion across platforms and messaging;
- Maintain social media calendars for each chapter, with an eye toward consistent posting on a variety of topics;
- Support live social media coverage of select events, which may occasionally require availability during evenings and weekends;
- Support national social media channels as needed;

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong writing skills;
- Experience with Slack, Google workspace tools, and Canva;
- Knowledge of social media best practices;
- Knowledge of social media calendar tools;
- Experience analyzing performance metrics;
- Project management skills;
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to navigate competing priorities;
- Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a workplace where diversity, equity, and inclusion is valued and centered in their work;

- Experience with Sprout Social;
- Spanish fluency;
- Graphic design skills.
Salary:Â $50,000 – $58,000
