As a Video Editing Intern, you will primarily focus on video editing tasks, transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that align with our brand and marketing objectives. This role is a remote position, however there may be opportunities to assist with occasional on-location video shoots, so willingness to travel is a plus. This position is ideal for a creative individual with a passion for storytelling through visual media and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Video Editing Internship Responsibilities
Video Editing:
- Edit raw video footage to create polished, professional, and visually appealing videos.
- Incorporate basic graphics, animations, and other elements to enhance the visual storytelling.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Collaborate with the marketing and curriculum teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality video content.
- Request feedback and make revisions as needed to produce the best possible work
On-Set Support:
- Support in-person for video shoots as needed (typically 0-1 times/quarter)
- Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure a smooth workflow during on-location filming
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the creative team to understand project goals and timelines
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual style
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and solutions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current enrollment in a related field (Film Production, Communications, Media Studies, etc.) or recent graduate
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Baseline knowledge of how camera, lighting, and audio equipment function
- Willingness to travel occasionally for shoots
- Ability to receive and implement feedback effectively
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Excellent ability to communicate, listen, and ask questions in a remote work setting
- Demonstrates coachability and independently seeks out growth opportunities to enhance performance in their role.
- Self driven and excellent at problem solving independently with minimal direction.
- Eager to make an impact on schools and education.

Pay Rate and Schedule
- $18/hour – 15-20 hours/week
- 6 months with the opportunity to extend
