Construction Project Manager at FittedCity, Ikeja, Lagos

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction project management experience to oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate must be organized, technically sound, and capable of managing contractors, schedules, budgets, and site activities while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from initiation to completion
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans
• Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Track project progress, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and statutory regulations
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation
• Manage variations, claims, and change orders
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Building Technology
• Minimum of 3 years relevant construction project management experience
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (required or strong advantage)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and site operations
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, Primavera, or similar)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Renumeration: 150k – 300k (commensurate with experience and skill level)
