Overview
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is committed to building human capital in Muslim communities worldwide. Through its scholarship programs, IsDB aims to develop skilled professionals, researchers, and leaders to drive social advancement, sustainable development, and technological innovation.
The IsDB Scholarships are designed for students from Member Countries (MCs) and Muslim communities in non-Member Countries (non-MCs), providing opportunities at undergraduate, master’s, Ph.D., and post-doctoral levels.
Scholarship Programs

Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities (SPMC) – Launched in 1983 for undergraduate studies in non-member Countries.

Merit Scholarship Program (MSP) – Launched in 1992 for Ph.D. studies and post-doctoral research in applied sciences and high technology, targeting Member Countries.

Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.) – Launched in 1998 as a feeder program for MSP, targeting students from Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs).
Eligibility
