Overview:
The Salam Scholarships at Ulster University, established in 2023, provide transformative opportunities for Palestinian women to pursue higher education in Northern Ireland. For the 2026/27 academic year, five scholarships are available across undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and MBBS programmes. The scholarships are designed for talented students with financial need and limited access to international study.

Eligibility Criteria:

Female Palestinian resident in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (priority for West Bank, Gaza, or refugee camps)

Financial need and inability to study abroad

Applying for a new programme at Ulster University, not previously commenced

Must meet academic and English language requirements

Must demonstrate leadership potential and how studies will benefit career, society, and country

Provide certified ID (Palestinian or Jerusalem ID)

Declaration of authenticity, confirming no AI use in the application
