Who Can Apply

You must:

• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a one-year postgraduate taught course at the University of York

• Be assessed at the overseas tuition fee rate

• Meet all English language requirements

• Apply by Monday 11 May 2026 (11:59pm BST)

Not eligible if you:

• Are fully funded or hold a 100% tuition scholarship

• Are a current University of York student

• Are enrolled in part-time, distance learning, pathway, medical, exchange, or multi-year Master’s programmes

Selection Criteria

• Academic excellence (strong preference for UK First Class or equivalent)

• Quality of written scholarship application

• Overall academic record

Only one candidate per country will be selected.
