The Youth of Excellence Scheme of China (YES China) – Chinese Government Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded master’s scholarship hosted by Wuhan University, one of China’s top-tier institutions under the Ministry of Education. • Major: Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

• Host Agency: State Key Laboratory of Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing Information Engineering

2. Public Health Programme

• Major: Public Health

• Host Agency: School of Public Health

Study Structure:

• Year 1: Full-time coursework, research, and thesis preparation at Wuhan University

• Year 2: Thesis writing based on work experience in home country + thesis defence in China

Scholarship Coverage

Full Chinese Government Scholarship, which typically covers:

• Full tuition fees

• Accommodation

• Monthly living allowance

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a non-Chinese citizen, under 45 years old

• Be in good physical and mental health

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree

• Have a minimum of 3 years of professional work experience

• Have relevant work or training related to the chosen programme (preferred)

Eligible Applicant Categories

Applicants must fall into one of the following groups:

• Government officials (division chief level or equivalent and above)

• Senior managers in institutions or enterprises

• University or research institution administrators

• Professionals with work or internship experience in international organisations

Language Requirements

• TOEFL: 80+

• IELTS: 6.0+
  Applicants whose mother tongue is English or who completed prior degrees taught in English may be exempted.

Step 1: Wuhan University Application

• Apply via Wuhan University Online Application System

• Select “Chinese Government Scholarship”

• Deadline: March 1, 2026

• Successful candidates receive a pre-admission letter

Step 2: CSC Application

• Apply via Chinese Government Scholarship System

• Scholarship Type: Type A

• Agency Code: 1563

• Programme: Youth of Excellence Scheme of China

• Deadline: March 31, 2026

Final selection is made by the China Scholarship Council (CSC).

Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of:

• Valid passport (valid beyond March 2027)

• Notarized highest degree certificate

• Academic transcripts
