TLC Ingredients, Inc. is strategically located to provide the best chemical distribution service to all of our clients with our primary service area being the Upper Midwest.
We are currently seeking a seasoned sales professional within the Wisconsin and Northern Illinois market focused on food ingredients and chemical distribution. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing key accounts and a record of success in account management and sales growth.
Responsibilities
· Cultivates and manages a network of relationships with key accounts throughout the territory
· Use effective techniques to protect existing business and close new opportunities
· Effective communicator, timely follow up and attention to detail
· Innovative problem solver and can troubleshoot customer challenges
· Negotiates pricing and terms of agreements (where applicable)
· Continually identifies growth areas for the assigned market/product areas
· Receive customer inquires and perform follow-up by providing proposals and new product information
· Forecast based on customer insights, market knowledge, and opportunity progression
· Attend required food safety and quality related training sessions
Qualifications
· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
· Prior sales experience required
· Experience in food ingredient sales a plus
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to travel within designated territory
· Experience developing and executing large account strategies
