Performance Marketing Manager

About the job

The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of paid acquisition and retention campaigns for http://www.alienworlds.io- the largest social metaverse in the world.

You will have an expert-level knowledge of paid search, affiliate marketing, e-commerce and the ever-changing digital media landscape. Technical abilities such as keyword analysis, bid management, bid optimization, A/B testing, tracking and SEO is a must. In addition, an advanced understanding of Internet regulations and standards is a plus.

Job Scope

· As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will be obsessive about driving quality traffic and retention – championing brand and site discovery.

· Joining the marketing department, The Performance Marketing Manager will plan and own the delivery of performance activity across PPC, Paid Social, Display and Remarketing – all with a data centric focus.

· The Performance Marketing Manager will ensure continuous optimisation of all campaign activity, driving efficiencies and continued optimal performance.

Skills

The Performance Marketing Manager must have effective communication skills and be able to communicate to all levels of senior management and marcomms colleagues. Reporting to the Head of Blockchain Marketing, they will also need to manage and communicate directly with digital platform providers, technology suppliers and strategic partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, data science or engineering is required. A master’s degree in marketing and hands-on experience with marketing, analytics and e-commerce is preferred.

Responsibilities

· Creating, developing and implementing effective paid search strategies

· Launch and optimize multiple PPC campaigns simultaneously

· Overseeing paid campaigns across a number of search platforms (e.g. Google AdWords, Microsoft Advertising, Brave)

· Targeting and segmenting audiences

· Managing campaign budgets & adjusting bids to optimize the highest possible return on ad spend (ROAS).

· Produce KPI reports for management on a regular basis through various quantitative dashboards

· Conversion and attribution tracking

· Produce engaging, clear and concise copy for PPC ad campaigns

· Suggest, develop and align new campaigns across multiple channels

· Build and strengthen key relationships across PPC ad platforms and various vendors

· Find ways to reduce risk of click fraud

· Keep abreast of digital, PPC and SEM trends

Requirements

· Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Performance Marketer or Paid Media Specialist

· Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation

· Experience driving a business or brand utilizing multiple ad platforms (e.g. AdWords, Facebook, Bing, Yahoo, Brave)

· Expert in using analytical tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, WebTrends etc. along with data points to understand, recommend, execute and report

· Experience with segmentation, analysis, tracking, automations/flows

· Excellent communication, both verbal and written

· Analytically minded and strong in arithmetic

· Understanding of digital marketing concepts and SEO

· Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)

· BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field; AdWords certification is a plus

· Understanding of HTML and XML is a plus

· Web 3.0 and blockchain experience is a plus
