Amref International University Learning for Life (L4L) 2025 Postgraduate Scholarship Overview
The Learning for Life (L4L) 2025 Postgraduate Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship by Amref International University (AMIU) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. It supports students pursuing postgraduate degrees in public health-related fields for the May 2025/2026 academic year at AMIU’s School of Public Health.

Amref International University Learning for Life (L4L) 2025 Postgraduate Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must:

Meet the admission requirements for the chosen postgraduate program at AMIU (apply here: AMIU Admissions).

Be a citizen and resident of Kenya or Zambia.

Be 35 years or below at the time of application (special considerations for women, displaced persons, persons with disabilities, the unemployed, and socio-economically disadvantaged applicants).

Be available for the May 2025 intake.

Amref International University Learning for Life (L4L) 2025 Postgraduate Scholarship Application Requirements
Applicants must:

Obtain an admission letter from AMIU.

Submit the online scholarship application (Apply Here) and upload the following:

Cover Letter (max 500 words) explaining motivation.

Certified copies of academic certificates & transcripts.

Proposed research concept (1,000 words).
-
Two reference letters (from an academic institution or workplace/internship).

Passport or National ID copy.
-
Recent passport-size photograph (JPG, PNG, TIFF).

Updated CV.
-
Proof of socio-economic disadvantage (letter from a community administrator).

Additional documents (if applicable: refugee ID, disability registration, or government letter on displacement).
