The Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS) supports students pursuing Research Doctorate and Research Master’s degrees at Monash University. It is co-funded by Monash University and the enrolling faculty/academic unit to assist with living expenses during the study period.

Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS) Eligibility

Applicants must be one of the following:

• Australian citizen

• New Zealand citizen

• Australian permanent resident

• Australian humanitarian visa holder

• International student

Additionally, applicants must:

• Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process.

• Meet Monash’s English language proficiency requirements.

• Be undertaking a Joint Research Award (when Monash University is the home institution).

Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS) Benefits

• Living allowance (stipend): AUD $36,063 per year (2025 rate).

• Relocation allowance (if eligible).

• Tuition scholarship (for successful international applicants).
