Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025: Overview
The Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship (DVCIS) rewards high-achieving international students with full or partial tuition support and access to leadership development opportunities. Open to all future Deakin coursework students, the scholarship includes participation in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program and aims to attract students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community engagement.

Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria
• Must be a prospective international student applying for a coursework degree at Deakin University
• Must meet Deakin’s admission requirements
• Must have achieved a minimum average of 85% or equivalent in previous studies
• Must meet all eligibility criteria at the time of application
• Note: Not available for the Doctor of Medicine (H911)

Two references commenting on community involvement or leadership

• Submit your scholarship application at least one month before your course start date
• Selection is highly competitive – meeting the minimum does not guarantee the award
• Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview
Selection Process
Candidates are assessed based on academic merit, community engagement, leadership potential, and the quality of their personal statement. Applicants not selected for this scholarship will be automatically considered for the Deakin International Scholarship (50% tuition discount).
