Discover Canada Cultural Exchange Program 2025 Overview

The Discover Canada – Cultural Exchange Program is designed to promote Canadian culture and values on the global stage. This initiative provides participants with an immersive experience of Canada’s history, arts, and heritage, fostering intercultural dialogue and international understanding. Participants will engage in museum tours, cultural workshops, and interactive sessions while exploring major cities like Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Hamilton.

Discover Canada Cultural Exchange Program 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be active on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), with content quality and reach considered.
• Have proficiency in English communication.
• Have prior travel experience (preferred).
• Have leadership or public activity experience (considered an advantage).
• Have an interest in Canadian culture and experience visiting museums or cultural events (preferred).

Travel Dates: May 20-25, 2025

Inclusions & Exclusions

Included:

• Accommodation

• Meals (3 times a day)

• Museum tickets

• Local transportation

• Full visa support and an official invitation letter for selected participants

• One participant will win a 1,500 CAD Apple Store gift card

Not Included:

• Travel expenses to and from Canada

Application Fee: $46 USD

Program Plan

Day 1 – Toronto

• Arrival in Toronto

• Orientation & guided city tour: CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Distillery District

Day 2 – Montreal

• Explore Old Montreal & Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

• Attend seminars on Canadian art and culture

Day 3 – Ottawa

• Tour Parliament Hill & National Gallery of Canada

• Visit Canadian Museum of History

• Interactive session with Canadian culture experts

Day 4 – Hamilton & Niagara Falls

• Visit Art Gallery of Hamilton, Royal Botanical Gardens & Webster’s Falls

• Cultural workshops & interactive sessions

• Day trip to Niagara Falls, including a boat tour

Day 5 – Toronto

• Farewell dinner & cultural exchange night
