Durham University is offering International Scholarships to students from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Vietnam for the 2025/26 academic year. The scholarship aims to support self-funded students pursuing undergraduate or taught postgraduate studies.

Durham University International Scholarships 2025/26 Eligibility

• Must be a national and domiciled in one of the following countries:
  • Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Vietnam
• Must be an international fee-paying student and fully self-funded.
• Not eligible if tuition fees are covered by an employer, private provider, or government body.
• Must be willing to participate in marketing and promotional activities for Durham University.

Durham University International Scholarships 2025/26 Benefits

• £5,000 tuition fee discount per year.
• Scholarship is not transferable or deferrable—only valid for the awarded academic year.

Durham University International Scholarships 2025/26 Eligible Programs

• Applies to most Durham University undergraduate and taught postgraduate programs.
• Exclusions:
  • All Business School programs (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)
  • Undergraduate Law programs
  • PGCE, PGCERT (Education), and Graduate Diplomas
  • MA – Conservation of Archaeological and Museum Objects
  • MSW – Social Work
  • Executive MSc in Behavioural Science
  • All research postgraduate programs
  • Second year of a taught postgraduate program

Durham University International Scholarships 2025/26 Application Process

• No separate application required.
• To be considered, applicants must:
  1. Apply for an eligible program at Durham University.
  2. Receive a conditional offer.
  3. Accept the offer by the specified deadline.
• Only successful candidates will be notified of the scholarship decision.

Durham University International Scholarships 2025/26 Additional Information

• Scholarships will be revoked if students:
  • Withdraw from the university or fail to meet scholarship commitments.
  • Suspend their studies (except under exceptional circumstances approved by the Faculty Executive Dean).
• Scholarship decisions are final and at the discretion of the International Office.
• No cash alternative is available.
