The WAAW Foundation Scholarship 2025 supports young African women pursuing STEM-related degree programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in universities and colleges across Africa. The initiative aims to reduce financial barriers, foster innovation, and empower women to become leaders in technology and science.
WAAW Foundation STEM Scholarship for African Women 2025: Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be female students of African origin, residing and studying in Africa.

Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university or college.

Be studying a STEM-related course.

Be in their first or second year, or third year if enrolled in a five-year program.

Be below 32 years of age.

Demonstrate financial need.

Maintain an excellent academic record.

Show proven leadership, volunteerism, or community service experience.
WAAW Foundation STEM Scholarship for African Women 2025: Benefits
Selected scholars will receive financial support to continue their STEM education and will join the STEM Outreach Chapter at their universities, where they’ll mentor and inspire other young women to explore science and technology fields.
