Fully Funded Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship 2025: Overview

The Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship 2025 is now open for applications! This fully funded opportunity empowers young leaders dedicated to addressing the interconnected challenges faced by women and girls, particularly in areas like mental health, disability rights, gender-based violence, child marriage, and more. Scholars will attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany. Delivered in partnership with the Hauwa Ojeifo Global Impact Fund for Women & Girls, the scholarship supports emerging changemakers with access to global networks, mentorship, and funding to scale their impact.

Fully Funded Hauwa Ojeifo Scholarship 2025: Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be aged 18 – 30 (applications from over 30s considered with strong justification)

• Be leading or significantly contributing to an initiative aligned with one or more of the following themes:

  • Mental Health (including neurodivergence and developmental differences)

  • Domestic & Sexual Violence

  • Disability Rights & Rights of Older People

  • Gynecological Health & SRHR

  • Maternal & Child Health

  • Girl Child Issues (FGM, Child Marriage, etc.)

  • Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

• Live and work in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East

• Leadership in an impactful organization or initiative related to the scholarship focus areas

• Commitment to gender equality, mental health advocacy, disability inclusion, or other listed themes

• Preference for projects integrating psychosocial support or disability-inclusive programming
