The University of Oxford, in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), is offering fully funded MBA scholarships for African students under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Supported by the Saïd Business School Foundation, this program aims to empower African leaders committed to the continent’s development through access to world-class education and global opportunities.

MBA Programme – 2026–27 Academic Year
Eligibility Criteria
• Must be a citizen of an African country
• Must be ordinarily resident in Africa
• Must demonstrate a clear commitment to Africa’s development
Documents Required
• Completed University of Oxford MBA application
• Supporting documents required for the MBA program (e.g., academic transcripts, CV, essays, references, etc.)
Important Notes
• No separate scholarship application is required
• Only those shortlisted for interviews will be contacted by the University
• This is a highly competitive scholarship with only five awards available
Selection Process
Applicants will be selected based on their MBA application, alignment with the scholarship criteria, and interview performance if shortlisted.
